Dedebit football club have fired head coach Yohannes Sahle three matches into the new 2016/17 Ethiopian premier league season.

In the three fixtures, he beat Ethiopian Bunna 3-0, lost 2-0 to defending champions Kidus Giorgis, before settling for a barren draw against Woldia City in week 3.

The 52-year-old Ethiopian-born American was on his second spell with the blues, after being dismissed as the national team manager last summer.
