Kenyan international defender Aboud Omar has penned a deal at Bulgarian top tier side PFC Slavia Sofia joining other Kenyans Michael Olunga and David Ochieng Cheche who also clinched lucrative deals over the week.
Aboud Omar left Kenya’s Tusker FC in August 2015 joining Greek side Panegialios in a six month deal that gave him the opportunity to showcase his skills as many teams were salivating for his signature.
Aboud Omar who was formerly with Bandari back in the Kenyan premier league impressed the Slavia Sofia coach as he joined the list of players brought onboard as the team unveiled its new signings Slavia Sofia are placed third in the A PFG league which has ten teams having played 18 games gaining 30 points.
Aboud Omar will be instrumental in bringing stability in the left back position where he has played a crucial role both for Kenya’s National team Harambee Stars and the local clubs he has featured for.
Aboud Omar made 14 league appearances for Panegialios before joining Sofia.
