Only 12 DRC Congo players have assembled in Kinshasa for Tuesday’s match versus visiting Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Leopards Coach Florent Ibenge summoned a squad of 28 for the international build-up billed for Stade de Martyrs, Kinshasa but only 12 have managed to arrive for camp with majority being home based professionals.

Foreign based players mostly from Europe are expected to start trickling in on time for the match after doing duty for their respective clubs over the weekend.

Air travel in Africa is not only expensive but also cumbersome with very few Airlines having direct flights to major cities in the West.

Congo will use the match to gauge themselves before their World Cup qualifiers opener against Libya on Sunday 9.

The 12 in Camp:

1. NSIMBA VITAL
2. MUBELE NDOMBE
3. OUALEMBO CHRISTOPHER
4. BOKILA JEREMY
5. MULUMBA REMY
6. ISSAMA MPEKO
7. BOPE MERVEILLE
8. BOLINGI JONATHAN
9. BOMPUNGA PADOU
10. LOMALISA JOYCE
11. MATAMPI LEY
12. AFOBE BENIK
