The 2016 Cosafa U-20 competition gets underway in South Africa on Wednesday 7 December 2016 with hosts nation facing Lesotho in the evening at the Moruleng stadium at 19:30 CAT.
Also in Group A, Botswana square off with Swaziland at the same venue at 14:00 CAT.
Title holders South Africa are firm favourites to qualify out of this group and will be hoping to go all the way to retain their crown.
Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho will also be gunning for glory in this year’s Cosafa youth championships.
The Moruleng stadium will also host on the same day record holders Zambia who begin their campaign against Zimbabwe in Group B at 16:30.
Both teams are tipped for the title and will pose a challenge to South Africa’s title defense.
Also in Group B are the flames of Malawi looking to cause an upset and qualify to the quarter final.
On Thursday 8 December, 2016, Mogwase stadium hosts the Group D match involving the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique at 11:00 CAT and also Group C clashes, Seychelles v Mauritius at 14:00 CAT and Angola v Sudan at 17:00 CAT.
