Zesco United mauled a stubborn Power Dynamos 4-2 to book a place in the 2017 Charity Shiled final in a match played at Samuel Ndlovu Stadium on Thursday.

Kenya International Jesse Were scored a brace while his compatriot David Owino scored the second goal  for the champions, who looked dangerous from the word go.Were opened his account in 19th minute of the game.

Then in 48th minute,Were scored his second at the end of an attacking spree by Team ya Zico.

Owino’s goal of the match came at the half an hour mark from a beautiful run with the other goal coming from Billy Mtale who converted in his own net for Zesco goal.

Dynamos had their goals coming from Siakongo in the dying minutes of the first stanza while Larry Bwalya reduced the deficit in the 65th minute of the second half.

Harambee Stars midfielder Antony Akumu also clocked full minutes in the Zesco win that will see them face Nkana in the finals scheduled for Sunday 2 April at Arthur Davies Stadium.
