Chipolopolo head Coach George ”Chicken” Lwandamina has included 2012 AFCON winners in Captain Christopher Katongo and Midfield power house Isaac ”Gattuso” Chansa in the CHAN provisional squad.

2012 Africa Cup Winning duo have been drafted into the CHAN squad that regroups in Lusaka today.

Both Isaac and Christopher have already been spoken to and have since agreed to be part of the squad.The duo is humbled by the call up and confidence shown in their
abilities and have promised to give their best.

Chansa and Katongo have emphasised that they are doing this for the love of the country and will do their best to add value and experience which they have gained in their illustrious careers.

The Zambian CHAN squad has today commenced its preparations for the 2016 Rwanda championships which kickoff on January 16, 2016.

Red Arrows quadruple of Danny Munyao ,Paul Katema,Benedict Chepeshi and Festus Mbewe are not part of the squad due to their military training .
Zambia is in Group D alongside Mali,Uganda and Zimbabwe.
