Kagere who joined Gor Mahia at the beginning on the season penning a one year contract put his demands to the Gor Mahia top officials just ahead of Christmas holiday break an issue that did not go down well with the office.
Speaking to soka25east.com a top official who sort anonymity due to the seriousness of the matter said the demands by Kagere were unrealistic “We were suprised when Kagere demanded ksh 5 million to extend his contract. We belive that its been a mutual beneficial relationship between Gor Mahia and Kagere. We gave him the opportunity to rediscover his career and he gave us the service”
“Gor Mahia cannot afford that prize in anyway and its important to note that Kagere is not a young player that has a long career ahead of him.We can only do what is possible but for now we cannot in anyway meet his demand as a club its impossible” the official told soka25east.com
