Is Jesse Were behaving unprofessionally? The 2015 Kenyan Premier League golden boot winner is accused by an agent named Michael Adesiyan of walking out on him at the eleventh hour after he (Adesiyan) secured Oman move for him.
Speaking to Soka25east.com, Adesiyan revealed he had sealed eight months deal worth USD 40,000 for Jesse with an Oman club, and even helped process his travel documents including visa but the player has gone AWOL and is no longer picking his calls.
The Tusker FC striker was recently linked with a move to Egyptian side Ittihad Alexandria, and was quoted last week by this site, saying he was in the process of securing a visa at the Egyptian Embassy in Nairobi.
”I am going to the Egyptian embassy for visa application then I will travel for talks with Ittihad who have shown interest in getting my services. I have been linked to many teams but I feel I’m more interested in the Ittihad deal which suits me very well.” Were said.
The player could not be reached on phone for comment.
