Zambian giants Zesco United have ropped in a third Kenyan with signing of Kenyan league top scorer Jesse Jackson Were.

Soka25east can authoritavely say that the Kenyan international will don the Zesco colours.

According to Zesco United,Were has signed a one year contract with the Ndola based side.

He replaces Winston Kalengo,the ZSL most valuable player and top scorer who has moved to Congolese giants AC Leopards

Were who was linked to Egyptian side Al Hittihad and a club in Oman is reported to have changed his mind with his destination down South.

Other players signed include Ben Adama Banh of Ivorian side AS Kaloum on a 2 yr deal,Antony Akumu from Al Khartoum on a 2yr deal. Others are Mwila Phiri Junior and Idris Ilunga Mombo both on a season long loan from Green eagles and Kabwe warriors respectively.

According to a statement from the club offices in Ndola which stated that the signings made were to strengthen the already retained squad with only Kalengo leaving.It also stated that the contracts of the three foreigners will be effected upon passing medical.
