The much anticipated Kenyan premier league match pitting Gor Mahia vs Thika United scheduled to be live on Supersport tv has been cancelled and instead the AFC Leopards vs Sony Sugar game scheduled for Nyayo Stadium will be live from 4pm.

The new developments came as a surprise to Gor Mahia ardent fans but the respected broadcaster has not given a reason for the cancellation .

Apart from the Caf champions League matches which were broadcast Gor Mahia has had few matches live compared to their arch rivals AFC Leopards who seemed to have got a windfall with their live matches being on air.

Gor Mahia have been superb form this season as AFC Leopards look to return back to winning ways in a tough season that has seen Sony Sugar under coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno perform extremely well.
