Kenya’s representative to the 2016 CAF Champions league Gor Mahia beat yesterday’s deadline for submitting names of players to do duty in the continent’s elite competition by registering twenty players.
Four new faces made the squad, they include; defender Eric Ouma signed from Kakamega High School, Nairobi City Stars keeper Gradus Ochieng’, Amos Nondi from the junior K’Ogalo team and Francis Kahata formerly of Thika United and FK Tirana of Albania.
Gradus who is returning to his former side inked a two year deal with the champions as a replacement for third choice keeper David Juma who is on his way out in search of play time.
Loudly missing on the sheet is striker Meddie Kagere who is still negotiating contract extension after his one year deal ended last year.
K’Ogalo is still chasing more signatures whom they expect to register with CAF before paid deadline of January 15th.
