Dennis Okot handed the armband at KCCA.

Uganda Premier League side Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA) have handed Dennis Okot the Captain’s armband.

Club’s Executive Director Jenifer Musisi, Head Coach Mike Mutebi and his deputy Sam Simbwa unveiled Okot and his deputy Joseph Ochaya at a press conference held at a Hotel in Kampala.

Mutebi explained the decision, saying it was based on Okot’s leadership style, determination and loyalty to his fellow players.

“We decided to appoint Okot the new club captain basing on how he commands fellow players, he is a disciplined player and he pays much attention on his duties than anything else.” Mutebi was quoted by Redpepper.

The occasion was graced by FUFA supremo Eg. Moses Magogo.
