Zambia will play its first and Second games of the CHAN 2016 Tournament at Umuganda Stadium.According to a post on the Official Facebook page of the Football Association of Zambia,The Chipolopolo will play Zimbabwe then Uganda at Umuganda Stadium before playing Mali at Nyamirambo.
2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN 2016) starts in Rwanda from January 16 to
February 7.
The competition will be hosted in three cities across four venues.
Kigali will host Group A matches at the 30,000 capacity Amahoro Stadium as well as
Group C matches at the 22,000 capacity Nyamirambo Regional Stadium.
The city of Butare will host Group B matches at the 20,000 capacity Huye Stadium.
The city of Rubavu formerly known as Gisenyi and is contiguous with the Congo DR
town of Goma will host Group D matches at the 5,300 capacity Umuganda Stadium which has an astroturf.
Hosts Rwanda will play their matches at the Amahoro Stadium along with Gabon, Morocco and Ivory Coast.
DR Congo, Angola, Ethiopia and Cameroon who have been placed in Group B will be
based in Butare.
Group C also based in Kigali at Nyamirambo Stadium contains Nigeria, Tunisia, Niger and Guibea.
Zambia will be based in Rubavu along with Mali, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Zambia will play the first two group matches against Zimbabwe and Uganda at the Umuganda Stadium while the match against
Mali will be played at Nyamirambo Stadium.Both stadiums have artificial playing turfs.
