As was reported last night by Soka25east.com that the 2012 KPL most valuable player, Danny Sserunkuma was on the verge of joining Bandari FC, the deal has finally matured.
Danny this morning put ink to paper on a deal whose length and value remains a secret – confirming the acquisition, Bandari FC posted on their official facebook page photos of the player and a club official signing the deal.
He was reported to be interested in a one and a half year deal but the club was looking at a longer contract of more than two years.
The statement reads;
“2012 KPL player of the year signs for Bandari. Dan Serunkuma has joined Bandari on a free transfer deal. The player who last played for Armenia giants Ulisses signed his contract with Bandari at Mbaraki Sports Club today morning in the presence of Club CEO Edward Oduor. Sserunkuma has previously featured for Kampala Kids League (KKL), Express, Vipers, Nairobi City Stars and Gor Mahia (Kenya) and Simba (Tanzania).He joins his fellow Ugandans Abege and Waiswa.”
