Sportpesa premier league side Thika United FC was this morning held to a 2-2 draw against FKF-PL side Bidco United in a preseason friendly match played at Thika County Stadium.
The match started on a slow note with both team failing to create any clear goal scoring opportunity, the FKF-PL side playing a defensive game as the hoped to catch their more experience opponents on a counter attack.
Both coaches made some changes on their playing unit in the second period only for the match to burst into life as all the four goals came in the second half , both were lively going on each other and both side showing much intent to carry the day
Kennedy Otieno scored a brace for Thika United before Wilson Anekeya conceded an own goal, with Bidcos’ final equalizer coming from striker Kevin Keegan.
Thika United is slated to host Bandari FC on Sunday 31st January in another friendly match. Kick-off will be 3pm at Thika County Stadium.
