Zanaco stunned co-hosts and Faz Super League champions Zesco United to enhance their chances of lifting this year’s four-club international tournament currently taking place in Ndola.
The 2015 Super League runners-up rallied beat Zesco 2-1 in both sides penultimate game of the round-robin tournament that began on January 27 and ends on February 3.
Zanaco and Zesco went into the break scoreless before the latter sides’ Kenyan import striker Jesse Were broke the deadlock on resumption.

Zesco are third with one point after the defeat that came three days after they squandered a 1-0 lead to finish 1-1 with Azam in both sides opening fixture of the tournament.
