After landing a lucrative shirt sponsorship deal with sports betting giant “Sportpesa”, KPL reigning Champions Gor Mahia are set to secure a four year kitting deal with Italian Sportswear Company “Legea”.
“Talks are almost done, we just waiting to sign the deal. It’s a four year deal, which will see the company fully kit the team plus the technical bench,” Gor Assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala told Soka25east.com.
Even though he didn’t disclose the financial details of the coming arrangement, Ngala disclosed that, it’s a good deal which will benefit the club.
“Definitely the club will benefit from the contract.” He added.
Kitting was part of the Sportpesa shirt deal, to make sure the team is uniform and the their log is displayed on quality kits. K’Ogalo has used Legea before, back in 2012 when they were sponsored by milk company “Tuzo”.
Legea was founded in 1990 by Antonio Acanfora. It is one of the most popular brands among Italian amateur football teams; their main office is in Pompei, Italy.
In 2010, they were the official sponsor of North Korea national soccer team.
