The Program for the much awaited football Kenya elections has been released by the Electoral board under the Chairmanship of city lawyer Donald B Kipkorir.
According to the program, the confirmation and announcement of the final results will be done between 3:25 to 4:20 pm with the ushering in of the new office bearers 30 minutes later.
The transitioning of the federation as per the sports act by FKF Secretary Michael Esa kwa will be the last event after which Major Rtd Suleman Ghant will close with a word of prayer.
The session which will begin at around 8am EAT will be moderated initially by FKF Secretary General Michael Esa kwa before outgoing Chairman Sam Nyamweya takes over. Nyamweya will introduce all the dignitaries present, current FKF office bearers before Electoral board Chairman Donald Kipkorir takes over as the next moderator.
Korir will introduce his board members and the Body they mandated to do the elections the Institute for Education in D(IED) after which the actual voting will take place.
A total of 77 delegates who are already at the Kenyan capital Nairobi will participate in the elections where the President, Vice President and NEC members will be elected. The elections has seen a tight race between incumbent Sam Nyamweya, team change Nick Mwendwa’s and KPL chairman Ambrose Rachier
Kenyan cabinet Secretary for Sports Hon Dr Hassan Wario, his principal Secretary Richard Eka will be present. also present will be FIFA rep Mr Primo Corvaro, Head of Associations.
