2012 AFCON Golden Boot winner Emmanuel Mayuka has hit the ground running in the Egyptian Premier League.Mayuka who was left out of George Chicken Lwandamina’s 33 man ensemble is now scoring goals day in day out.
The former Southhampton striker scored the second goal in Zamalek’s 2-0 win over El Makewoon SC on Sunday.Muhammad Koffi opened the scoreline early in the first half before Mayuka could seal the win for the Egyptian Giants.
Mayuka has now scored 4 goals since he joined Zamalek SC.The win moved Zamalek to 41 points just 6 short of Top Placed Al Haly Cairo who have 47 Points.
Zamalek’s next game is on the 15th against 8th Placed Dakhleya.It’s a bit too early say whether he has found his form or not but for now he is in a goal heaven.
