Rwanda’s “Amavubi” Head Coach Jonathan McKinstry Wednesday morning made public his team to start preparations for Mauritius AFCON qualifiers match next week.
The 26-man squad comprises; 20 home based professionals and 6 foreign based. They commence camp on Saturday 19 at Golden Tulip, Nyamata.
The group H match will be played on March 26 at Anjalay Stadium, with the reverse tie happening three days later in Kigali, Rwanda.
Notable absentee in the squad is Amavubi CHAN captain Jacques Tuyisenge. The Gor Mahia forward has not kicked a ball competitively since arrival in Nairobi in February this year.
The former Police FC skipper has been out nursing a long term injury which he picked just before the CHAN tournament which Rwanda hosted in January.
His teammate at K’Ogalo, Abouba Sibomana is however in the mix.
