Kenya’s Harambee Stars to take Chartered flight to Guinea Bissau as Foreign based players get Business class tickets

Kenya’s national team Harambee Stars will fly to Guinea Bissau for the upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations set for March 23rd on a chartered flight and depart for Nairobi immediately after the game to prepare for the second leg in Nairobi on the 27th March.

The Football Kenyan federation(FKF) have also dispatched business class tickets for the foreign based players called up to for the Guinea Bissau clash.The foreign based players will fly directly from the bases across the World.

FKF President Nick Mwendwa confirmed the new development saying they had finalized the preparations with the help of the Sports Ministry for the team to fly on Chartered flight.

“Yes its true we have made arrangement with the help of the government through the ministry of Sports to have the team take a chartered flight so that they can arrive on time and depart immediately after the game to prepare for the second leg”

“This is a big boost for the team and staff, as it means we can spend more time on the training pitch preparing, and working towards top level performances in both games.”FKF President Nick Mwendwa told Soka25east.com

The team is scheduled to leave on Monday 21 March for Guinea Bissau and be back in time for the return leg scheduled for Sunday 27 March in Nairobi.

Kenya is third in Group E with one point, three behind leaders Congo Brazzaville and Zambia who both have four points. The two sides face each other on the same dates Kenya will be playing Guinea Bissau.
