SportPesa Super 8 Premier league heads to week 7 this weekend with all the 16 teams in action.
Joint leaders (14 points each), Jericho All Stars and Metro will be out to break clear at the top, with no chance for slip ups.
All Stars take the first plunge when they host sixth placed Ajax on Saturday 19 at Camp Toyoyo at 5PM. The match will be preceded by an early kick off tie between Masa and Shauru Moyo Blue Stars.
They (Jericho All Stars) will be beginning a new chapter in the absence of Head Coach James Nandwa who has since crossed over to Kenyan Premier League side Thika United FC – all eyes will be on them if they will cope without the former Harambee Stars tactician.
A win will be their fifth in seven fixtures, and could move them three points clear at the helm with 17 points.
The Embakasi side will be banking on the lethal duo of Victor Walera (4 goals) and Eddie Kuria (2 goals) to continie delivering the goods.
A win for Ajax could see them climb to top five on eleven points.
In another match of the day Baba Dogo United face off with Kabete United at Baba Dogo Grounds in an East Vs West Conference duel.
On Sunday 20th, focus will be squarely trailed on a top versus bottom clash between Kawangware United and leaders Metro Sports at Kawangware BP.
Metro who are yet to lose a single match; 4 wins, 2 draws, are favourites against “Ongwaro” outfit who have only won once and are placed 13th with just 5 points.
Peter Ambetsa who boasts three goals for Metro to this point will be a player a watch.
A win will a better goal difference could take Metro to the apex of the log with 17 points (assuming Jericho All Stars also win).
Kiambu Youth will entertain Diguna FC at NYSA Headquarters while Kiamaiko lock horns with University side TUK at a yet to be disclosed venue.
