Uganda and Burkina Faso will battle it out for the top sport in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group on Tuesday when they lock horns at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
Both teams are locked on six points in Group D following two wins each in their qualifying campaign thus far.
Uganda started their campaign back in June 2015 with an impressive 2-0 win over Botswana at home thanks to goals from Geoffrey Massa and Brian Umony.
They followed that up with a hard fought 1-0 win over Comoros away from home in September 2015 thanks to a goal from Tony Mawejje.
Uganda, though, stuttered in their last match on 26 March 2016, surrendering their 100 percent win record after going down 1-0 to Burkina Faso away from home after a penalty goal courtesy of Jonathan Pitroipa.
Burkina Faso will be looking to build on that momentum in order to see themselves into pole position in Group D.
Burkina Faso got their qualifying campaign in Group D off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Comoros at home in June 2015 thanks to goals from Aristide Bancé and Jonathan Zongo.
They followed that up, though, with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Botswana away from home in September 2016.
Burkina Faso will take the confidence from their win three days earlier into this match where a win for either side will see them atop the Group D standings.
