Vipers will hope to reduce the gap on leaders KCCA to three points in the pick of today’s Azam Uganda Premier League games that include a return to domestic action for SC Villa after their 7-0 drubbing by FUS Rabat in the Caf Confederation Cup.

Vipers- Bul

Vipers coach George Nsimbe is aware that his side cannot afford to drop more points if they are to retain their title.
Two consecutive draws against Villa and Police at the start of the month were followed by victories over Soana and Bright Stars.

The last result, coupled with KCCA dropping points at Lweza on Tuesday means a win today will move them three points behind the leaders.

Left back Dan Bilikwalira returns while midfielder Sadam Juma is not included in the match day squad.
Bul meanwhile have one win from their past five away games, a 1-0 win over KCCA early last month.

Villa-SCVU

After the 7-0 debacle in Morocco, they could not have asked for a softer landing. They are up against an SCVU side that has lost five straight games and are second from bottom on 19 points with seven games left.

Simba- Bright Stars

A run of four defeats in five games and one point from 15 has coincided with illness to coach Fred Kajoba for Bright Stars.
Simba though have have only fared slightly better picking one point from as many games and are in the relegation zone, four points from safety and a game more than The Saints just above them.
