Zesco United will be without Misheck Chaila and Simon Silwimba for Tuesday’s Caf Champions League retiurn leg against Stade Malien of Mali.Misheck Chaila and simon Silwimba both picked up Knocks in Mali.
The duo missed saturday’s win against Nkwazi and they are also expected to miss tomorrow’s encounter against Stade Malien.
Shemmy Mayembe and Kondwani Mtonga replaced the two players in theor respective positions and the two performed exceptionally well on saturday.
Zesco are going into this match with an advantage having beaten their opponents 3-1 away in mali.They followed it up with a fantastic performance in the MTN/FAZ super League beating Nkwazi 3-0,breaking a four year jinx of having failed to beat Nkwazi at Levy Mwanawasa since 2011.
Stade Malien Coach Pascal Janin told reporters upon arrival that tyhey are here to win and will do their best. “We are embarrassed at what Zesco did to us back home .We are here to win.They are yet to test defeat in this competition but we hope and pray we will be able to end their undefeated run”.
