Power Dynamos Vs Forest Rangers Arthur Davies Stadium 15:00 Hours
I remember the game these two teams played at Arthur Davies last season. Power Dynamos won 1-0 and Forest Rangers felt they were hardly done by the referee. That loss also denied Forest Rangers to play in the Barclays Cup 2015.
Forest got their revenge by denying Power Dynamos qualify for CAF Confederation as that loss in Ndola somehow completely finished the hope Power Dynamos had of playing continental football. The Ndola game ended 1-0 too.
The games between these two sides have been very close and actually Power only managed to score two goals in this encounter from 2011 in 2013 when they won 2-0 at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Nkana would end up as champions that season. Otherwise this fixture is characterised with 1-0, 1-1 and 0-0 results. But Power Dynamos will be hoping they can do what they did in 2007 when they beat Forest Rangers 5-1 at Arthur Davies Stadium, that year Zesco won the title.
But this current Power Dynamos is not so motivated and they are low on form and you start wondering where the form disappeared from looking at the off season hype. Forest Rangers will also be looking for a good result because anything less than a win and if Lusaka Dynamos and Green Eagles are to pick full points then Forest Rangers may just fall into the relegation zone.
In the last sixteen games between these two sides, we have six wins for Power Dynamos, Two wins for Forest Rangers and eight draws and looking at the form of the two teams. I think Power Dynamos may just pick this one but it will be tight.
Prediction: Power Dynamos 1-0 Forest Rangers

Lusaka Dynamos Vs Green Buffaloes Sunset Stadium 15:00hrs
Lusaka Dynamos are in the relegation zone but they have same points with Green Buffaloes. Actually teams from 11th position to 16th are all on five points and what separates them is goal difference and alphabetical order. That’s how tight things are at the bottom and it’s now time for scramble of points.
Lusaka Dynamos picked a very good point against Power Dynamos in week six while Green Buffaloes were relieved as Zanaco were travelling for the CAF Confederation assignment. This is another tight game and the past encounters have provided less goals average of a goal per game. In the last 12 games between these two sides, GBFC has five wins, Lusaka Dynamos has two wins and five are draws.
They are not having the best of the season so far and such games are evasive. I think it will be the sixth draw in thirteen matches.
Prediction: Lusaka Dynamos 1-1 Green Buffaloes

Nkwazi Vs Red Arrows Edwin Imboela Stadium 15:00hrs
Nkwazi looked to have been cruising when they beat Lumwana Radiants 4-0 but a look at the table actually shows poor start. Played six and only 7 points is not good enough. That’s dropping 11 points with a scenario of a lot of games in hand of teams below them, Nkwazi may just be fighting relegation if they don’t bring their 2015 form back to the team the soonest.
They face Red Arrows who are also struggling for form with one win in four games already with zero goal difference having scored only three and allowed three. But Red Arrows have a very good head to head record against Nkwazi.
The last 12 games shows Arrows four wins, Nkwazi two wins and six are draws. Nevertheless Nkwazi was one of the teams that beat Red Arrows last season at Edwin Imboela Stadium and forced a draw at Nkoloma. This is not an easy game.
Prediction: Nkwazi 0-0 Red Arrows.

Green Eagles Vs ZESCO United Independence, Choma 15:00hrs
The defending Champions are on the road for only the second time this season having picked three points in Kitwe when they beat Power Dynamos in week three 2-1. Zesco have just qualified to the group stage and the first objective of the season is done.
Now the second is to defend the Super League and Green Eagles is the next block. It’s becoming easy to predict ZESCO games because they have a big squad and brilliant players. But they are beatable and having qualified to the Group stage they will travel to Choma with so much confidence. The last time they travelled to Choma, George Lwandamina was left fuming after Green Eagles equalised with almost the last kick of the game. They beat Eagles in the reverse fixture 2-0.
Zesco has played Green Eagles 10 times in the Super League winning six, losing two and drawing two. They have scored a total of 18 goals against Green Eagles and only allowed nine. The last time Green Eagles beat Zesco was in 2014 when they beat them 3-1.
Zesco went on to win the league that season though. I watched Zesco against Mali side and am sure Green Eagles technical bench watched that game too. I have a feeling the defeat of Zesco on the road is on this weekend as Green Eagles will win.
Prediction : Green Eagles 1-0 Zesco United.

Mufulira Blackpool Vs NAPSA Stars John Kachofa Stadium 15:00hrs
Mufulira Blackpool has only scored one goal this season and that came against the league leaders Nkana. They host NAPSA desperately looking for points to save the coach with both teams in the relegation zone this will be one of the games of the weekend.
They are all on two points and no matter what happens in week seven these two teams will remain in the relegation zone unless the other is to score cricket goals and helped with the teams on five points losing. That’s too much to ask and it doesn’t always work out that way.
I don’t think there will be enough goals in this encounter as both teams looks blunt upfront. I think this will be a first win for Mufulira Blackpool and you can imagine the ecstasy at the newly renovated John Kachofa Stadium.
Prediction : Mufulira Blackpool 1-0 NAPSA

Lusaka Tigers Vs Nakambala Leopards Independence Stadium, Lusaka 15:00hrs
This is my game of the week and Independence Stadium is the place to be as second and third placed teams meet for the first time. There is so much confidence that is being seen in Lusaka Tigers but they are playing the best defensive team in the League having only conceded one goal in five games. The other team with that record is ZESCO but that have played fewer games.
Nakambala Leopards is coming from a big win against Kabwe Warriors in Mazabuka while Lusaka Tigers travelled to Mufulira for a point against Mufulira Wanderers. This will be a cagey game, Nakambala are good at defence and Lusaka Tigers are resilient and the soccer fans for Tigers are passionate.
I hope they won’t run on the pitch again after scoring. Talk of scoring I doubt if Tigers will score Coach Chanda is so defensive and they depend on counter attacks which will be tough in this encounter as Nakambala are the masters defending.
Lusaka Tigers look out for your fans as FAZ will be observing the behaviour of the fans, before, during and after the game especially that I think Nakambala will carry the day.
Prediction: Lusaka Tigers 0-1 Nakambala Leopards

Kabwe Warriors Vs Lumwana Radiants Godfrey Chitalu Stadium 15:00hrs
Kabwe Warriors at home against the new boys from North Western Province who are on seven points having won two drawn one and lost two but they have a huge task against a Kabwe Warriors side that are from a loss in Mazabuka.
These two teams are from Division one and Kabwe Warriors has massive experience of playing in the Super League and such games will be a starting point after a defeat. Kabwe Warriors have started slow and only have one win two losses and two draws.
They need points to get off that position of only five points at this stage but a win in this encounter may push them to fifth if other results go their way.
Prediction: Kabwe Warriors 2-0 Lumwana Radiants

Nchanga Rangers Vs Mufulira Wanderers Nchanga Stadium 15:00 Hours
Nchanga Rangers have a near perfect run against Mufulira Wanderers in Chingola and it is always difficult for Mufulira Wanderers at that stadium and this will be another hard game for Mighty especially with the happening in Mufulira. Mufulira Wanderers have lost the last three games they have played in Chingola in the Super League, 3-0 in 2015, 3-2 in 2005 and 2-0 in 2002.
But Nchanga is not playing the best football as well at the moment though they seem the confidence grows in every game. Mufulira Wanderers needs a positive result to turn their season around and I don’t think it will come this weekend.
They carry a short trip to Chingola with issues of the technical bench and sometimes these things bring life in a team. They are seventh on the log on seven points, two behind Nchanga Rangers that means should they beat Nchanga Rangers away they will go above Nchanga.
My feelings goes with Mufulira Wanderers in this encounter but Nchanga Rangers will be a serious factor and will be a hard nut but I think they will draw this one.
Predition: Nchanga Rangers 1-1 Mufulira Wanderers
