“We had to win this match cause we had drawn our previous two games and we couldn’t settle for anything less than a win.I told the boys that we had to win the game by all cost “. Chikwanda added.
When asked about whether his teams performance on the weekend proved that Football house was righ in appointing him to assist George,Chikwanda declined and rather concentrated on the match.
“This is a different game all togeher. This is a league match and that’s the national team.It has nothing to do with us beating Warriors.Don’t ask me about that .Ask me about the match” Chikwanda said.
Warriors Coach Mohammed Fathy alluded to a lot of factors as to why his team lost including poor officiating .
“A lot of things came into play including some calls by the officials. They did not give certain off-sides and disallowed our goal but you can’t take anything from Nkwazi they are a very good side.We also missed a lot of chances”
“The league is still open and before the break we have a chance of ending 4th or 5th on the log.We will also be looking to beef up our squad once the transfer comes around” Fathy said.
