MTN/FAZ super League defending Champions Zesco United have been drawn in Group A of the CAF Champions League Group Stages with Group Al Ahly of Egypt, Asec Mimosa Cote D’Ivore and Wydad Casablanca Morroco.

Zesco United are the Dark Horse of the group having not won the title before and only been to the group Stages once in 2009.Al Ahly are the team with most titles [8] in the group and overall with their last title coming in 2013, while Wydad and Asec have won it once in 1992 and 1998 respectively.

All odds are against the Zambian Giants but Football being what it is only after all the matches have been played can we tell who will play the semifinals.

Emmanuel Mayuka and his Zamalek SC have been drawn in group B with Kennedy Mweene’s Mamelodi Sundowns.ES Setif and Enyimba international are the other two teams.
