Livingstone Pirates came from behind to see off ten men AM Welding

Livingstone Pirates hosted AM Welding at Busiku Ground in a Football Association of Zambia second tier rescheduled week 2 tie this afternoon.

Pirates dominated the opening half hour of the game,winning umpteenth side pieces and creating many chences but failed to utilize them.

Minutes later,Pirates paid dearly for their early mosques.After forcing Welding to play within their half,Pirate’s defence was caught napping as the visitors drew first blood from a counter attack.

After halftime recess,AM Welding pressed,in search of the second goal as sidelined Pirate’s Hungarian coach watched with fans.

Livingstone Pirates skipper Mwikisa restored parity with a brilliant strike.He smashed a half volley from the right flank outside the box and Welding shotstopper couldn’t do anything to save the goal.

There were so much tension on the pitch and the visitors were on the receiving end after one of their player was sent off after bringing down Dux Mwikisa inside the penalty box.The referee pointed on the spot to award Pirates a spot kick.

The tourist capital hailing outfit converted the penalty to cement a 2-1 Victory.
