Gor Mahia Brazilian import Thiago De Lima Silva has signed two years contract pending international tranfer certificate (ITC).
Meanwhile the club through the Football Kenya Federation ( FKF ) has requested for the striker’s ITC from the Brazilian Federation, a process they believe should be over soon as their is no dispute arising from the signing.
“He signed two years deal with us and we have fowarded his documents to FKF registration. The only part remaining is getting his ITC which we are in the process of acquiring.” Ronald Ngala – the acting Secretary General of Gor Mahia.
His transfer fee and monthly salary plus other bonuses remain a well guarded secret.
If the process is completed before Sunday then the 32 years old former Corinthians B, FC Ratic and SC Lustenau foward could earn his debut for K’Ogalo against Tusker FC in the Kenyan Premier League Top 8 Knockout Tournament at Nyayo Stadium.
Lima has been training with the rest of the squad at Camp Toyoyo training ground since Saturday 3.
Another player in line for maiden appearance for the Kenyan champions, is attacking midfielder Baron Oketch who completed his move last week from Western Stima.
