Nigeria Football Federation Disciplinary committee upheld the decision by the league Management Committee to explore Giwa FC from the Top league, The Nigeria Professional league.
Giwa was found in breach of rule B 13.28 which gives a verdict of possible expulsion from the league if a club misses three consecutive matches.
Giwa has thus been given 48 hours to appeal if not then they will not be part of the top tier with all their matches that they have so far played being cancelled.
They have also been fined USD 50000 for failing to honour their match against Enyimba. They will pay Enyimba USD 5,000.
