The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named the match officials for this weekend’s 2016 CAF Champions League Group A opener against Al Ahly at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on June 18.
All four referees will come from East Africa.
Davies Omweno of Kenya is the match referee while compatriot’s Gilbert Cheruiyot is the second assistant and Anthony Ogwayo is the reserve referee.
The first assistant will be Mark Ssonko from Uganda.
The match commissioner will be Agostinho Basilio Muluta Prata of Angola while Nigerian Raufu Bolaji Ojo-Oba will be the general match
coordinator.
The officials are due to arrive on Thursday.
