FIFA honcho Gianni Infantino has conveyed a congratulatory message to Uganda Premier League Champions Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC).
Infantino in a letter dated June 9,2016 addressed to Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo termed the “Garbage Collectors” 2015/16 triumph a result of determination from the entire KCCA system.
Infantino believes that KCCA’s victory and FUFA is helping spread the positive image of football.
‘It gives me great pleasure to send my heartfelt congratulations to Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club and their indomitable team on this great achievement’
It further goes;
‘This title is the result of determination of everyone involved and my congratulations go to the players, the coach, the entire technical and medical staff and the fans’
KCCA FC emerged Ugandan top flight champions in the 16 team league.
