Reports from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania indicate that Macron is courting Yanga SC for a possible kitting deal.
Yanga, one of the most supported clubs in East Africa seems to have attracted interests from the Italian Sports Apparel company owing to their recent good run, both domestically and in the CAF competitions where they reached the group phase of the CAF Confederations Cup this year.
Their dominance in the local league,winning it a record 24 times this season, eclipsing arch rivals Simba SC have made them to an extent the national team as their support base expands.
On their way to camp in Antalya, Turkey ahead of CAF Confederations Cup first group phase match against Algeria’s MO Bejaia, Yanga donned Macron free time apparel.
On match day, June 19, Yanga will for the first time wear Macron made kits.
If the deal happens, Yanga will join Egyptian giants Zamalek SC as the other African club kitted by Macron.
Macron also kits Guinea Bissau national football team.
