Mighty St. George Football Club have clinched Ethiopia Premier League crown for the third time on the bounce with two matches to spare.

The 2016 Crown is Kidus Giorgis’ 13th in the current Ethiopian Premier League format that consists 14 teams and a record 28th since inception.

Mart Nooij charges, beat Dashen 2-1 on Monday evening at Addis Stadium to attain unassailable points tally of 51 – nine points clear of second placed Adama City with just to rounds of matches to the conclusion of the season.

Two goals from veteran Salhadin Seid and Adane Girma locked the three points with Edom Hosowrovi scoring the only goal for Dashen.

For the third straight time, Kidus will represent Ethiopia in the CAF Champions League next season.
