Less than a week since sealing a big switch from Southampton to Tottenham Hot Spurs in the English Premier League, Victor Wanyama has landed a new role back at home in Kenya.

“Big Vic” was on Tuesday night unveiled as the Multichoice Kenya’s “Let’s Play” brand ambassador.

In his new capacity, the 25 years old celebrated midfielder will be the face of the corporate social responsibility programme (Let’s Play) – an initiative by the mother company of Africa’s biggest pay television firm “DSTV”.

About Let’s Play

Let’s Play according to Supersport.com is about enabling children to live healthier lives and through the power of sport, bridge the racial and social gaps in society and more importantly ensure that kids have a safer, brighter and better tomorrow.

LP therefore encourages participation in physical or sporting activity and brings back the fun and excitement of playing.

As role model to many youths in Kenyan and Africa at large, Wanyama will be expected to help influence youths positively by encouraging them to get involved in physical activity and explore their sporting talent.
