Nizeyimana Junior’s second half goal ended Rayon Sports’ hope of league title as relegated AS Muhanga beat the peace cup winners 1-0 in Muhanga on Thursday.
Rayon Sports who had three matches at hand before the clash, remain second on 57 points, 10 points shy off APR FC who have now been declared Champions for the third straight time, as the league climax on 17 July 2016.
The Rwandan army side have now won “Azam Rwanda Premier League” a record 16 times.
In this match, Rayon Sports were awarded two penalties which Davis Kasirye and Kwizera Pierrot watched in dismay being saved by Muhanga’s keeper.

17/07/2016: Musanze FC vs Rayon Sports
APR FC on the other hand will play AS Kigali on 17th July 2016.
In the other match played today, Marines secured their top league position by beating third placed Mukura Victory Sports 2-0, Blaise Itangishaka and Muvunyi Haruna were on the mark.
Marines are now placed 11th on 30 points before the final day of the league.
