A confirmed report from Tanzania indicates that Football Kenya Federation (FKF) request for U17 warm-up with neighbors Tanzania has been accepted by the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) and a date set.
“Tanzania U17 national football team will play host to Kenya U17 team in a friendly scheduled for July , 23 in Dar.” The Source confirmed.
Both teams are sharpening for U17 Nations Cup Qualifiers in August with Kenya set for an away clash against West African powerhouse Cameroon; with Tanzania taking on South Africa.
The Kenyan youngsters who were fished from around Kenya in a vigorous exercise in June, have been camping at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani in preparations for the qualifiers.
The championship takes place between 2-16 April,2017 with semi finalists earning a berth in the FIFA U17 World Cup in India later in the year.
