Born on November 5, 1996 to Mr. Tangauzi Wilkinson and Mrs. Diana Kibisu (Both deceased), Tangauzi played football while in Kenya for Ligi Ndogo football academy before coming to Uganda in 2005.

While in Uganda, the versatile player joined St. Marys Kitende Secondary School (Owned by Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa, former FUFA President) for studies as well as playing football attracting attention from coaches Edward Golola, Richard Wasswa, and the entire technical team.

From Kitende he joined Nakaseke International Secondary School and later East High School where he was Captain, putting up fabulous performances in tournaments such as Copa Coca-Cola, National Schools Championships, Buganda Cup (played by schools in Buganda Kingdom) among others.

After high school, he joined Kampala regional side Kamwokya United that was then coached by former Uganda Cranes player and Somalia national team Coach Livingstone Mbabazi guiding the team to a memorable Uganda cup quater-final in which they lost to simba then a top flight football club during 2012/13 season.

After the memorable season, Tangauzi was signed by top league side Kira Young where he also made a mark.

From Kira he joined Saints FC in his second year in the AUPL where he formed a brilliant midfield partnership with Isaac Kirabira earning him praise from his manager and current Uganda Cranes assistant Coach Moses Basena.
