Azam TV will broadcast live Tanzania’s “Vodacom Premier League” for an extended five years period.
The pay television station and the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) on Tuesday penned a new improved deal worth USD 11,040,000 that will see the 16 teams pocket more money.
Each of the club will receive USD 579,600 per season, distributed in three phases, with the last disbursement will taking into account placement on the log table, with highest ranked teams getting the lion’s share in a descending order.
Azam TV managed just 115 live matches last season, a representation of 48% of total fixtures; but they have promised to up their game and serve move live action in the new 2016/17 season.
