Newly promoted side Proline football club kick started their preseason training yesterday with a gym session at Godfrey Nyakana’s gym at centenary park.

The team under head coach Baker Mbowa had two and half work out focusing mainly on power.

Last season’s FUFA Big League leading scorer Edriisa “Torres” Lubega was one of the players who turned up for training as as well as Timothy a new signing.

Other players who turned up were goalkeepers Saidi Keni, Lwamunda Nasser,Swaib Ssebagala, Asiku Andrew, Okiror Joshua, Kato and Wasswa, Kamista Davis, Joseph Mandela, Wafula Solomon and Nsubuga Ibrahim. Officials present were Coaches Luyima, Baker Mbowa, Baker, and Kichoncho.

Notable absentees were team skipper Mbaziira Simon, Gift Ali, Makoba Denis, Simon Namwanja, Noordin Bunjo and striker Bayo Fahad who is injured.

The team continues training on Tuesday at East kololo grounds with some field play.

Proline made it to the AUPL after defeating Lira based side Sporting 4-1 in the play offs at Nakivubo stadium.
