Coach Andreas Spiers named a squad of 26 for the regional tournament for U17 which kickoff on Friday in Mauritius.

The new team fished from around Kenya in June has been sharpening at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani for the championship as well as Nations Cup U17 qualifier away to Cameroon in August.

The Kenyan juniors who sloted in as guests for Mozambique who pulled out for another youth event in Cape Verde depart Nairobi on Tuesday and will player their group “B” opener versus Madagascar on Sunday.

Other group opponents are Zambia and Malawi.
