On Wednesday Godfrey Nyakana a former professional boxer and Current National Resistance Movement party Kampala region Chairman took the Proline football club team through a motivational session where he shared his experience as a boxer and his journey to winning Uganda a commonwealth medal.
He also gave the club facilities at his Centenary park gym.
In and interview with soka25east.com, club director Mr. Mujib Kasule who is currently down on bed recovering from a torn achiles tendon said,
“Nyakana is my personal friend.He grew up in Wandegeya and they were our elders who showed us the way in sports.
He was better as a footballer and hopefully his meeting with the team will be of great value as he emphasised them to work hard and keep maximum discipline in order to succeed. ”
Proline football club was promoted back to the top flight after beating Lira based side Sporting United 4-1 at Nakivubo stadium in the FUFA big league play offs and are now preparing for the upcoming AUPL.
