League Leaders Zanaco were in devastating form this afternoon, putting 4 unanswered goals past a hapless Lusaka Tigers in a week 19 fixture of the FAZ MTN Super Division, played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Saith Sakala netted a hat-trick while Fashion Sakala got a goal as Numba Mumamba saw his side move 11 points clear of second placed Nkana Football Club.
Zanaco started the game on a slow note without their inspiration forward Roderick Kabwe and it was Saith Sakala who stepped up with two first half goals in the 29th and 41st minute to set the Bankers on the way to another resounding win.
In the second half, Lusaka Tigers had no answer to Zanaco’s attack as Fashion Sakala and Saith Sakala wrapped up a resounding 4-0 win.
Zanaco now lead the table comfortably on 46 points and are looking like title favourites. They are followed by Nkana on 35 points after their barren draw at Green Eagles in Choma.
