South Africa beat Kenya 4-0 on Friday to book a place in Cosafa U-17 final in a match played at St Francis Xavier stadium in Mauritius.
Mjabulise Mkhize was on target for Amajimbos in the 10th minute with a shot to the right with Kenya custodian George Ouma well beaten to register the first goal for South Africa.
Luke le Roux doubled the lead in the 29 minute with a well taken free kick to score his first goal for South Africa, in his second game for his country.
Seven minutes later Lina Mchiliseli scored the third goal after George Ouma failed to hold the ball,a goal that made Kenya coach to make changes in the first half bringing Lewis Wanjala for Eric Muriithi to strengthen the attack.
In the second half South Africa dominated possession, but failed to breach the Kenyan defense in better part of the second half before the leaking opponents defense allowed a free kick to occur in their half.Bonga Dladla well taken free kick came in the 73rd minute to make it 4-0 in favor of Amajimbos sending Kenya out of the competition.
The Kenyan youngsters conceded 14 goals in the four matches that they played in the tournament that acted as preparations for the 2017 Africa U17 Championship qualifiers where they are scheduled to meet Cameroon in the preliminaries.
