The long awaited arrival of Burundi international Laudit Mavugo at Tanzania’s Simba SC has finally come to pass.
The celebrated former Vital’O goal poacher on Friday completed the much hyped move, penning a two year deal with the “Mzimbazi Red” at their headquarters located along Jangwani Street, Dar Es Salaam.
Speaking after being presented to the media and fans, Mavugo reiterated his commitment to the club and willingness to give his all during his stay.
“I’m happy to be here, and I intend to give my all and repay the fans faith in me. ” The 23 year old said.
Four more players were signed on the day as the former champions build to challenge for the title against arch rivals Yanga SC who have been dominant in the local scene for the last two seasons.
The quartet are; Fredric Blagnon (Ivory Coast),Janvier Bokungu, Musa Ndusha (DR Congo) and Method Mwanjali (Zimbabwe).
