Zambia’s Continental envoys Zesco United have been ranked highest amongst Zambian Clubs by FootballDataBase.com . This is according to the latest Rankings released by the website on Monday 8th August 2016.
Zesco United who are currently on the blink of qualifying to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions league have amassed a total of 1393 points which also means they land the number 54th place in Africa.
The log leaders Senstional Zanaco came in second with a total of 1362 points [89th in Africa]. The Bankers have massively been helped by their amazing league run which has seen them top the league with 8 points separating them and second placed Nkana.
12 time Champions Nkana only managed a 5th place on the rankings with local rivals Power Dynamos coming 3rd and Green Buffaloes taking the 4th slot.
Roan United are the highest Ranked team from division 1 taking the 12th place ahead of super league sides such as Green Eagles,Lusaka Dynamos and Nakambala Leaopards.
