Zesco United Captain and first choice goalkeeper Jacob Banda has said the team is not under pressure as they prepare to face Egyptian giants Al Ahly on friday. Banda who is a crucial part of the Zesco united set up said this in an interview with Egyptian press last evening, during the teams first training session in Egypt.
“The pressure is not on us its on Al Ahly .It is a must win game for them. The fans can not intimidate us cause we have more fans in Zambia”-said Banda
“We are prepared both mentally and physically for the match. The way we have prepared we will make it hard for Al Ahly to play their game”-He further added
Vice Captain Jackson Mwanza is however cautious of the threat Al Ahly poses in attack .
“They are very strong in attack, they are huge and play very well but we will not let them play their game cause we will be on them”-said Mwanza
“We will play both attacking and defensive systems as you know the best way to defend is to attack”-said Mwanza when asked about the system the team will employ on friday.
The match will be played on Friday at Borg EL Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Friday [tomorrow], 12th August 2016 at 20∶00 hours Zambian time.
