The second window for the registration of players for the 2016 CAF Interclubs was closed on Friday, 5 August 2016.
This is in accordance with the Article V.8 Para 2 of the regulations of the Orange CAF Champions League and Orange CAF Confederation Cup, which states “A National Association which has registered less than 30 players in January may after the 2nd 1/8 finals, starting two weeks before the date of the first matches of the group stage until the 5th of August of the year of the competition, complete its list up to a maximum of 30 players, provided that the additional list does not exceed seven new players”.
Some of the players have already tasted action for their respective clubs after their registrations were approved.
