Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Micho has included on form Dan Sserunkuma,Yunus Sentamu,Emmaniel Okwi to his 24 man squad that will begin preparations to face off with Togo in an Afcon 2015 qualifer to be played on the 11th October in at the Namboole Stadium in Kampala.
Also called up to the team are Baker Lukooya,Fred Nkata and SC Villa Striker Karim Ndugwa in what will be a fierce competition for a place in the final team with the likes of Sentamu being on form for AS Vita,Sserunkuma for Gor Mahia expected to fight it out.
The fight for a place in the goalkeeping department is also stiff with top names being called up the likes of Dennis Onyango,Robert Odongkara,Benjamin Ochan and Ismael Watenga battling it out.
The biggest casualties were Yanga’s Hamisi Diego Kiiza and Robert Sentongo who were both dropped despite playing a vital part in the qualifiers.
Micho is away in Egypt, attending to the Africa courses symposium gave the onus of announcing the squad to his assistant Kefa Kisala where review of the Africa’s teams performance at the 2014 World Cup is the key aspect
